We’re pleased to announce the 2019 Gaelic Cemetery Vineyard McAskill Shiraz has been given 95 points from revered wine critic James Halliday Wine Companion.
“From a single estate vineyard at White Hut, planted 1996. Matured 17 months in seasoned French oak barrels. Bright and lively blueberry fruit is lifted eloquently by violet fragrance and underlined by pencil-lead-fine chalk mineral structure. Fruit, acidity and tannins embrace triumphantly to define medium-term cellaring potential. It carries medium persistence and will hopefully build in time.”
